Hello Soul Family!
December 21, 2018 is this year's Winter Solstice, marking the Shortest Day and the Longest Night of the year. The Northern Hemisphere celebrates Winter Solstice in December and the Southern Hemisphere in June.
In northern Europe, the Winter Solstice is called Yule, a festive time that reminds us of the power of Gaia to birth a New Sun King for the coming year using the decorations of Christmas trees, Yule logs etc with the colors of red, green, gold, silver and white.
The last full moon of the year occurs on December 22, one day after the Solstice and right before Christmas which gives it extra spiritual powers.
Take advantage of this blessing bestowed upon us by reflecting on the past year and what you want to accomplish in the New Year. Upgrade your spiritual work and Empower yourself! Join family and friends in celebration.
WINTER SOLSTICE RECIPE:
32 oz unfiltered organic apple juice
I tsp whole black peppercorns
½ tsp whole cloves
2 whole cinnamon sticks broken in thirds
Pour 8 oz apple juice in a small saucepan and add the spices. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add the simmered juice, including the spices to the rest of the apple juice. The spices will permeate all of the apple juice. Let rest for 30 minutes and then serve hot or cold.
Refrigerate, if there is anything left!
ENJOY
I love you all,
Grandma
