Before you came to the Earth Plane you were asked to choose the lessons you wished to learn in this lifetime. These are the contracts you made.
Whatever you wished to learn, you will experience the opposite. If you wish to learn to trust, you will experience deceit. In order to learn to love you must first experience hate.
It is through learning and growth that you come back into yourselves with the tools that you need to bring yourself full circle back to Source.
