It is hard for your 3D mind to imagine what eternity is because in your consciousness everything has a beginning and an end. This is the only framework in which your mind can operate. When you try to tell your mind that something is eternal, you immediately get resistance because there is no point to tune into.
This is the biggest difference in your mentality now compared to before because now you are feeling rather than thinking about what it is to be a part of Creator/Source, ie. to be a son or daughter of Creator/Source and to create again and again. You are a part of this deep plan of creation. When you allow this eternal Flow to be your Path, allowing yourself to be a part of this eternal Flow is when the real understanding of multidimensionality comes into the reality of your life.
Imagine the sound of a word you are pronouncing right now. This word is moving internally into time and space because it's a wave, a vibration. Everything exists as a wave and vibration, and is the world you are living in.
