Hello Soul Family!
The full moon in April is also called the full pink moon. The name does not come from the color of the moon - the moon will still appear white.
The lunar name comes courtesy of the Algonquin tribe and New England colonists, according to The Old Farmers' Almanac. In April around the time of the full moon, a spring flower called moss pink also known as wild ground phlox, blooms in profusion.
American Indians who observed the seasons and lunar months to track the passage of the year instead of a calendar, passed the term Full Pink moon onto the early European settlers.
As you know pink stands for Universal Love and since April is a month of blooming it is an ideal time to send Love to All things.
I love you all,
